I’m an Engineering Manager based in Lisbon, currently leading the Data Platform team at Feedzai — the same team I helped build from the ground up as an individual contributor. My path here started in mathematics and statistics, and led through nearly a decade of hands-on work: recommendation systems, ML-based CyberSecurity detection, and large-scale data platforms.
These days I care most about growing engineers, staying close to technical depth even while managing, and building platforms that make other teams faster. Outside of work, I unwind with games, football, and a good film or TV show.
